september 13th, 7:00. good morning and thanks for being with us, i'm steve chenevey. >> i'm allison seymour. a lot of redskins fans will be going on little sleep this morning after a nail-biting win against the cowboys. it came down to the final play. it looked like things were tied up with no time on the clock. but hold on. there was a holding penalty on dallas. the play was wiped out and the redskins were handed a victory. i don't like how that sounds -- handed a victory. the guy shouldn't have pulled him like that. dave ross will join us coming up in just a few minutes. >> we'll take the victory. >> exactly. >>> a lot of people sleepy eyed because of the game. >> and the vma's. >> a lot of people will enjoy that. >>> tucker that looked ominous with the fog rolling in. >> visibility less than a quarter mile. we have a dense fog advisory to the west until 9:00 this morning. i'll show you the maps and we'll talk about a nice looking monday. as we get into the afternoon. but a dense fog advisory until 9:00. all of the counties in gray. so not t
election day. >>> good morning. thank you for being with us. i'm steve chenevey. >> and i'm allison seymour. it is 7:00 a.m. and the polls are just opening in the district and in maryland. they'll be open for the next 13 hours, closing tonight at 8:00. >> when the results come in there could be a major change in leadership in the nation's capital. vincent gray has been enjoying leads at the poles over fenty, but the question is can the incumbent turn out enough votes for four more years. we'll share our final interviews with mr. fenty and gray in a moment. >>> the other big race is in prince george's county where there will be a change in leadership and it's likely one of these two men will become the next county executive. we have that state this morning. >>> and state races across maryland, including the state house and senate and local races in several counties, we'll have that all for you this morning. >>> in the meantime, tony perkins joins us this morning. straight up 7:00. this morning is starting off clearer than yesterday. a lot of fog yesterday. >> yeah, today looks good. it's fin
temperatures back into the upper 80s. a few of us will touch 90. currently 71 at reagan national. a lot of 60s off to the north and west. 65 in hagerstown. 64 in frederick. 73 the winning number in ocean city if you're lucky enough to have another day down at the beach. should be great down there. and 70 in fredericksberg. and a lot of quiet out there. high pressure continuing across the washington area. so more bright sunshine today. a little more humidity than what has been around the last couple of days but not anything compared to july and august levels so it will still be plenty comfortable out there but hot with highs in the upper 80s to about 90. cold front toward chicago, that will cool us down later this week. i'll have more details on that in a couple of minutes. but a lot of sunshine and 89 your afternoon high. more details in the forecast in a minute. we'll look at tropical storm hermine as well. >> tucker, thank you. >>> to a developing story in montgomery county. the ramps from i-270 to and from old georgetown road and rock ledge drive are closed with police activity because of a
